Every day is Canada Day at Goldstream Bicycles. We have a strong focus on Canadian companies, and Canadian content. Our major bikes lines are Canadian companies, such as Kona which is based in Vancouver, Macneil BMX in Port Coquitlam, Opus in Montreal, and Devinci in Chicoutimi. Opus ups the ante by assembling many of their bikes in Canada.

When it comes to Canadian content, however, it’s Devinci that really takes it to the next level. They not only assemble a large proportion of their bikes in Canada but also build thousands of their bike frames in our country. In fact, the reason Devinci chose to locate themselves in Chicoutimi was in part because the aluminum plant they get their frame tubing from is just down the road!

We don’t stop with our bikes. Many of our accessories are from Canadian companies like Axiom, Coast, and more. Here again there are ones that go above and beyond, such as Arkel who make bicycle bags, and manufacture most of them in Canada.
