The Coast Collective Art Gallery at Esquimalt Lagoon is holding a Transportation Festival on Father’s Day. Goldstream Bicycles will be there with a few bikes to test ride and to talk about bicycles as transportation. Here is the blurb about the event from the Coast Collective:
Transportation Festival
Father’s Day
June 20 – 10 – 4pmOn Father’s Day, June 20, to mark the end of the Transported show, we’re staging a fun-filled Transportation Festival on the grounds of the Coast Collective.
A great place for kids and dads to spend some time together exploring Harley Davidson motorcycles, a big dump truck, model trains, bicycles, a Colwood Fire and Rescue truck, tractors, wheelchairs and more ways of getting around. The Festival will have more family-fun activities such as SportBall – a great game for kids and parents to play together – and a kid’s centre put on by West Shore Parks and Rec.
There will also be music, food, and a beer and wine garden. Plein Air Painters will be out painting on the grounds, and of course, our great Gallery and Gift Shops will be available to wander through as well. It’ll be a fun-filled day with something for everyone. Admission is free. We do hope we’ll see you there!
