The 2006 Devinci Jalapeno is a Small dual-suspension cross-country bike, and the frame was handcrafted in Canada. The rear suspension has needle bearing pivot, is adjustable between 125mm and 145mm of travel, and it is tuned for high pedaling efficiency. The Jalapeno comes with a Shimanop Deore front derailleur and an XT rear derailleur for fast, smooth shifting and Hayes Nine hydraulic disc brakes with 8″ rotors. Some would call the 2005 Devinci Santiago a high-performance hybrid, while others would call it a flat-bar road bike. We prefer to just call it fast. Carbon fibre is light-weight and stiff, and the Santiago uses it liberally: the rear half of the frame is carbon, as well as the cranks, the fork, the seatpost, and the handlebar.
